Best Tattoo Artists in Istanbul: The International Guide
Istanbul has secured a decisive position on the global tattoo map over the past decade. The city plays host not only to Turkish clients — but also to thousands of foreign visitors from Europe, the Middle East, the US, and Asia. What makes Istanbul so attractive?
Why Istanbul?
- Internationally awarded artists: Istanbul-based artists now win awards at the same festivals as those in Berlin, Amsterdam, and Tokyo
- Competitive prices: Significantly less than Western Europe or the US for the same quality
- Diversity: Realism, anime, blackwork, fine line, whimsical — Istanbul has specialist artists for every style
- The city itself: Istanbul is an experience beyond the tattoo — the Bosphorus waterfront, historic venues, and food culture
Ink People: Kadıköy's Award-Winning Collective
